On Thursday July 7 from approximately 16:06 to 16:18 GMT, there was a degradation of performance across some of our data centers. The issue is now resolved.
The service degradation was a result of a configuration change being made across our environment. The change was successfully deployed to 50% of our environment, with no performance impact. This morning the next step of that deployment was taken and was propagated to 100% of our datacenters. As part of the monitoring of the configuration change, our engineering team observed a degradation in performance and immediately reverted the change to resolve the incident. Services affected included access to the dashboard and the ability to reliably resolve domain name requests. Some, but not all, of our data centers were affected by this configuration change.
There is no action for you to take and all services are now functioning as expected.
