This guide refers to a Huawei EchoLife HG520s router, but will apply to most Huawei routers in general.
1. Visit the router's IP address in a new browser window.
The standard address of the router's config is 192.168.1.1 (If you have forwarded port 80 to another machine, the location becomes 192.168.1.1:8080.)
4. Enter OpenDNS addresses in Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS Server fields, then click the Submit button.
Please write down your current DNS settings before switching to OpenDNS, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
The addresses for OpenDNS are:
- 208.67.222.222
- 208.67.220.220
