1. Open the Command Line on your Computer
For Windows, open Command Prompt: Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. (Windows Vista and 7 Users will need to run this 'As Administrator').
For OSX, open Terminal: Go to Finder > Applications > Utilities > Terminal
2. Telnet to the router
At the Command Prompt, type in: telnet speedtouch.lan and press enter. This is the gateway of your router. Alternatively, you can also use 'dsldevice.lan' or the gateway IP address
4. Run the "dns server route list" command
Enter dns server route list and press enter. This should give an output such resembling the following:
{Administrator}=>dns server route list
DNS Server Source Domain Metric Intf State
xx.xx.xx.xx * 10 Internet UP
yy.yy.yy.yy * 10 Internet UP
{Administrator}=>
5. Assign the OpenDNS servers
Type the following and press enter:
dns server route add dns=208.67.222.222 metric=5 intf=Internet
Then add the second server with the following and press enter:
dns server route add dns=208.67.220.220 metric=5 intf=Internet
dns server route add dns=208.67.222.222 metric=5 intf=Internet
Then add the second server with the following and press enter:
dns server route add dns=208.67.220.220 metric=5 intf=Internet
