Versalink Router Configuration

This guide refers to a Versalink 327W router, but will apply to most Versalink routers in general.

1. Visit the router's configuration page (http://192.168.1.1 or http://dslrouter) in a new browser window.

2. Login with your username and password.

3. From the Configuration tab, select Advanced WAN, then WAN.

4. Click the edit button next to the enabled protocol, PPPoE.

5. In the new popup window, enter OpenDNS nameservers in DNS Primary and DNS Secondary fields.

Please write down your current DNS settings before switching to OpenDNS, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.

The DNS Server addresses for OpenDNS are:

208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220

6. Click Set VC button.

7. Click OK to save the configuration.

8. Click OK to restart the modem.

9. Wait for the modem to restart.

After the modem restarts, we recommend that you flush your DNS resolver cache and web browser caches to ensure that your new DNS configuration settings take immediate effect.
