This article covers the basic Linksys router configuration steps. The steps cover how to explicitly change the DNS settings in your router to use the OpenDNS IP addresses (208.67.222.22 and 208.67.220.220).

2. Enter the Network password
3. Type in OpenDNS addresses in Static DNS 1 and Static DNS 2 fields.
Please write down your current DNS settings before switching to OpenDNS, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
The addresses for Open DNS are:
- 208.67.222.222
- 208.67.220.220
If you need to add a third and fourth entry, please use the following:
- 208.67.222.220
- 208.67.220.222
After clicking the Save Settings button, we highly suggest that you flush your DNS resolver cache and web browser caches to ensure that your new DNS configuration settings take immediate effect.
