These instructions are currently for the Buffalo Airstation. Have a different Buffalo router? Submit a support request so that we may further assist you and add your router to the guide!
1. Visit the router's IP address (http://192.168.11.1) in a new browser window.
http://192.168.11.1 is the default Buffalo router IP address.
2. Enter the router password.
The prompt "Enter username/password" screen will appear. By default, the username is root and the password should be left blank. If you have changed the defaults, then enter your corresponding information.
If you have forgotten your password, you may reset the router by pressing and holding for a few seconds the reset button located on the router itself.

5. Type in OpenDNS addresses in Address of DNS Name Server fields.
Please write down your current DNS settings before switching to OpenDNS, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
The addresses for Open DNS are:
- 208.67.222.222
- 208.67.220.220

6. Click Apply.
After clicking Apply, we highly suggest that you flush your DNS resolver cache and web browser caches to ensure that your new DNS configuration settings take immediate effect.
