Configuring Google Fiber routers (GFRG200, GFRG210, and GFMN100 )
- Sign in to your Google Fiber using the email and password you use for your Fiber account.

Select Network at the top-left corner. (If you don’t see it, click the navigation menu
to display the selection.)

In the settings pane, click Advanced; then click the DNS tab.

Select Custom for DNS Servers.
Enter the IP addresses in the DNS server fields
- DNS Server 1: 208.67.222.222
- DNS Server 2 208.67.220.220
NOTE: If you do not have an OpenDNS account and do not want to create one, you can use the FamilyShield DNS servers 208.67.222.123 and 208.67.220.123.
- Select APPLY
Test the configuration
Test your new DNS settings by visiting: https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/#results

Note:
If you are using a Google Fiber router other that the models listed at the top of the page these devices cannot be configured for custom DNS servers such as OpenDNS at this time. To use OpenDNS on the network for this router, you would need to use a second router on the network and configure the Google Fiber device using the following instructions: https://support.google.com/fiber/answer/2446100?hl=en&ref_topic=2731870.
Please note that if your router is not a gigabit router, you will lose 9/10ths of the maximum speed of your Gigabit Fiber connection.
Without using your own secondary router, you may choose to configure your computer or devices individually.
