Ultrasurf application block

    It looks like ultrasurf is essentially creating a tunnel between the "application", though it essentially appears to be a browser extension.

    If it is using domain names to establish it's connections then OpenDNS can block it just like anything else it blocks. If it doesn't use domain names then OpenDNS won't know anything about it and can't do anything to block.

    If it doesn't use on domain names to establish it's connections you'll need to rely on other methods to block it, including restricting local administrator access on computers, but methods such as blacklisting apps or their signatures or blocking certain types of traffic at the firewall. However those methods are all far beyond the scope of this OpenDNS discussion forum.
