This worked for me. I had to give it some time to kick in, 15 min or so.
No only did I have to register my IP address again, I had to go in and set up the filtering options again even though I did it when I registered the IP address. For some reason the info disappeared. I also installed the IP changer program thing that keeps the non-static IP's up-to-date.

Are you the same person as spacespace ?  Or did you seem to have the same problem?

Do you use OpenDNS at all?  http://welcome.opendns.com/

If yes, your symptoms indicate that the correct IP address is not registered at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ so OpenDNS cannot associate your DNS traffic with your settings.  Visit this page to update your IP address information, and run an Updater going further.

If you want to use only FamilyShield without dashboard, ensure that you have the correct OpenDNS resolver addresses, 208.67.222.123 and 208.67.220.123 configured, not any others. Delete any network at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ and do not run an Updater.
