Copy & paste the complete plain text output of the following diagnostic commands to here:

    nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com.
    nslookup whoami.akamai.net.
netsh interface ipv4 show config (Windows)
ifconfig -a (Linux and OS X)

     (Corrected the last command.)

I see that you do not have Live Parental Controls enabled yet, because you do not seem to be able doing so.

Because Netgear Genie is not supplied by OpenDNS, but by Netgear, you had to contact Netgear support, or visit the Netgear community to see if this has been reported (oh yes, it has!) and what the solution was.
    https://www.startpage.com/do/search?query=netgear+you+don%27t+appear+to+be+connected+to+the+internet

Also, I see that you're currently using OpenDNS Home.  This is incompatible with Live Parental Controls.  You must disable OpenDNS Home before you can use Live Parental Controls.
I.e. you must delete the network at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ and remove DNS server addresses having been configured manually and to uninstall the Updater. The LPC dashboard is only at https://netgear.opendns.com/

And the last thing, the last command must be different on your computer:

    ifconfig -a
