Can log in or enable parental contols

I am connected directly to the router. I have downloaded Netgear Genie. I try to login and it says there is an error logging in; or an error that I might not be connecting through a Netgear Supported router (I am). Don't know what to do.

  I can log on to my router on http://www.routerlogin.net. I can log my OpenDNS account at netgear.opendns.com. I cannot log on through NetGear Genie. I see this after using the same username/password combos:

  Ensure that your password does not contain special characters reserved for URL encoding/escaping. Else please raise a support ticket with OpenDNS.  It seems your account must be checked by staff then.

  same problem, and i believe opendns requires special characters

  Same problem, same solution.

  And no, OpenDNS does not require special characters reserved for URL encoding/escaping. There are many threads on here that specifically discuss the character's to avoid in your password when using LPC specifically and other OpenDNS accounts generally.
