I can't believe these community answers https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115006779127-Prisoner-
My question was how do I remove the parental block?
Maybe think before you judge and making it so I can't comment because that was blocked from me, while I got told my story was fishy? Um that's just how things are, born on July 23rd 1995 do I have to show a birth certificate?? My dad doesn't even run the household or own it, he moved states, I don't have contact he has left this block on for years. I pay good money to stay at home for the internet too and the renting market is too high.
Simply the internet isn't even owned by him and he has this block on so I want to get control back?

Well, I didn't want to provide you with tricks how to circumvent OpenDNS in a public forum, because everybody, even minors, could use them. This wouldn't be a good idea, right?
If you want to regularily remove OpenDNS from your configuration or want to change the blocking rules, there's no problem to instruct you how to do this. These are all official instructions which you could have found yourself if you only searched for them.
In case you have a Netgear router with LPC enabled, see https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227987607
In all other cases see https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227988567If you only want to change the blocking rules themselves, then you either visit https://netgear.opendns.com/ (for Netgear LPC) or https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ (for OpenDNS Home). You can then easily adjust the settings to your needs. You would have to ask your father for the credentials to login.
if you for whatever reason cannot obtain the credentials for OpenDNS and/or for your router, then you have the following options:
- Reset the router to its factory defaults.
- Or open a support ticket with OpenDNS to get your father's account removed, or to get new credentials for it.
