MAC addresses are not visible on the internet and by OpenDNS and are not part of the DNS protocol.  Now, how could OpenDNS be able to handle what they cannot see?

If you want to exempt a device, configure another (non-OpenDNS) DNS service on it.

Maybe an administrator inside a local network will enter the mac address or white list some devices?

Situation like, inside a small office, computers of staff are restricted with pornography and facebook, but one user should be allowed to use a facebook while also restricted with porn.

Mac address filtering is only my suggestion, i hope there are other ways to make this possible.

Again, MAC addresses are not a part of the DNS protocol. This information does not get sent to OpenDNS (or any other DNS solution anywhere in the world). It doesn't matter where or how an admin entered this information, there is nothing that OpenDNS could do with it since it would never receive it.

Again, as rotblitz said, if you want to exempt a device, you need to configure a different DNS service on it.

It should be noted that OpenDNS Home (the free OpenDNS service) is only for home users. it is not licensed for use in a business (per your example). To use OpenDNS for blocking a business would need to get one of the paid services. However, those pay services have different options for controlling what devices or users get filtered, such as by user an agent or having a bypass code available. What options are available depends on the specific plan that is used.

Again a last time, there are other ways.  For example you configure another DNS service on this user's device.  There are DNS services out there which can block categories like porn as well.  Some of them are also free for use in a business environment.

With an Umbrella Prosumer account, and the Umbrella Roaming Client you can accomplish what you need. It's designed for that purpose.
