How do I disable parental controls--Netgear genie won't log into OpenDNS

I want to turn off Parental Controls so I can change the DNS settings on my Netgear R7000 Router.   However, when I use the Netgear web interface for parental controls, it doesn't give me an option to turn the Parental Controls completely off.    The Netgear Genie desktop app won't log into my OpenDNS account, as the password is not recognized, even though I have confirmed the password and user name is correct.    I can log into my OpenDNS account, but that doesn't seem to give me any options to turn off Parental Controls so I can define my DNS server.

Hence, I am wondering how to turn off Parental Controls completely without the genie app.

  Here's an update.  I installed the mobile app on my phone, and was able to log in and turn off the parental controls that way.   But, for the record, there still seems to be two problems: 1) the web interface doesn't give an option for turning off parental controls, and 2) the genie desktop app has some sort of difficulty logging into openDNS.   Apparently this is an old issue (https://community.netgear.com/t5/Genie/Genie-app-won-t-connect-to-OpenDNS/m-p/992382#M870).

  Genie is Netgear's, not OpenDNS'.  Best is to refer to Netgear support.

  I have the same problem trying to disable the parental control via netgear genie to modify DNS.  whenever I click on Parent control in Netgear's Genie , it automatically redirect to the opendns, but there is no way to disable this.

  Again, Genie is Netgear's, not OpenDNS'.  Best is to refer to Netgear support.
