How to setup Parental Controls?
Hi All,
I'm just starting to look at setting up the Parental Controls and I was hoping there would be some documentation on how to configure and what options do what.
What I want to achieve is basically:
3 accounts (one for son, one for general use and one as a bypass account).
Is it possible to configure an account that is dedicated to just being used by my son (I'm looking to have a 9pm cut off for weekdays and maybe an 11pm for weekends - he is only 11).
The general account would be 24 hour access but just with a lower level of blocking.
I have the bypass account sorted.
Do these accounts get linked by IP addresses?
As you can tell I have no idea yet of what happens here!!
any help would be grateful
Cheers
Craig

For Live Parental Controls see the instructions at https://kb.netgear.com/25687/

This is not an LPC function, but a pure router function.

No. LPC works based on the router's device ID and bypass user IDs, not based on IP addresses. And the device blocking feature works most likely based on the MAC addresses.
