    The fact that it works a few days and then stops working rather indicates that it is a problem with your router, not with your ISP. 

    "My OpenDNS content filtering has broken because of this."

    Another reason could be that you don't keep your IP address information updated at https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/ so that your settings do not take effect any longer.

    If this problem occurs again, copy & paste the complete plain text outputs of the following diagnostic commands to here, so I may see what's going on:

    nslookup -type=txt debug.opendns.com. 208.67.220.220
    nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com.
    nslookup whoami.akamai.net.

    You also may check if your ISP uses a proxy or a transparent caching server which may circumvent OpenDNS:

    http://www.lagado.com/tools/cache-test
