In order to use the built-in DDNS update client of a device like a router for OpenDNS, it must support at least one of OpenDNS, DNS-O-Matic or "custom / user defined" from the Service Provider drop-down list.  Does it?

If not, you cannot use this update client for OpenDNS.

If it is supported, the update URLs are:

    https://updates.opendns.com/nic/update?hostname=NetworkLabel
    - or -
    http(s)://updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update

I managed to configure this router, the configuration that worked for me was this:

    Domain Name: opendns.com

    Service Provider: dyndns-custom

Host of the Service Provider: updates.opendns.com

    Service Port: 80

    User Name: <your OpenDNS username>

    Password: <your OpenDNS password>

    Encryption Mode: BASE64
