OpenDNS VIP and email on Chrombook

Since I set up OpenDNS, my kids' gmail does not work on their Chromebooks from school ("Your connection is not private" message).  Any recommendations??

  Please post the actual message (not just part of it) or a screenshot of it. However, it sounds as if you might have set things so strictly that you are actually blocking gmail.
