Install netgear genie in another computer and getting "this device registered another user"

    I just bought a new Netgear modem, and I have the same problem. Help.

    I think that I have a totally different problem. For some reason, my newly installed netgear genie app on PC could not bring up configured parent control screen. Instead, it wants me to start from beginning again, and of course my device has already been used.

    This problem may not really be different (else you would have created your own thread, right?).  Regardless, the procedure is the same, so follow the instructions from the links I posted above.  Nobody but staff can help you.

    ...and the community cannot help you.  Responses to tickets take at least 72 hours on business days.  So be patient.
