can't log in to Parental Control
I see that this has been rehashed over and over, but I don't see a solution (other than no solution for some devices because Netgear doesn't want to fix it for them).
I have an N7000. I've logged in to it as admin to allow devices to connect to wireless. That's about it. Now I want to use parental controls. I've installed that and tried to log in to it. It pops it with "admin" as the user name. That's the name I still use to access the router config. Of course, I at least changed the password. I logged in to the router admin earlier today. So, I assumed that login was the one the parental control wanted. Couldn't get in. Password is written down and I tried several times. Reading here, I tried the login I created to access this forum. Also no good. I'm unclear -- which login should I use? If one of these (don't know what else it could be) and I still can't get it to work then I'd appreciate recommendations for other software to use for access control. I have Norton Security; haven't looked into whether that can do it or I'd need some other Norton component.
Secondary question: it appears that I had to sign up for a 14 day trial of Cisco Umbrella in order to be able to write to this forum. Is that really true? Will I need to get the trial again if I want to post after the 14 days.

Follow only these instructions: https://kb.netgear.com/25687/ - there's nothing to add by me or you.

No, not for me.
