myip.opendns.com for IPv6

I find the command 'dig +short myip.opendns.com @resolver1.opendns.com' very helpful to determine my wan Ip address. It would be great to have a similar service for IPv6.

Thanks for providing the myip.opendns.com for IPv4.

  Why do you request this?  It is in effect already!  You just have to use the right syntax for IPv6, not the one for IPv4.

  dig +short -6 myip.opendns.com aaaa @resolver1.ipv6-sandbox.opendns.com
  2003:75:2e25:5701:817:fdce:bc1:d77c

  All good!  It seems you forgot to request the AAAA record, and you sent the query via IPv4...

  Thanks for this. I requested it because I was speaking with support and asked if myip.opendns.com supported IPv6. I was told by support it didn't and to file a feature request. I didn't bother to check it out. My bad.

  Yeah, support may not know what the developers have done.
