I don't believe that I've ever seen a fairly decent operation go so horribly awry. Since Cisco took over and initiated half baked changes to the system it has turned into a googl-like operation. The quality is terrible. A system that is insane to navigate, beyond not-even-cryptic menus that lead to meaningless pages of worthless output to vanishing configuration options that were in place for years prior. I'm past being frustrated with openDNS at this point and have changed to a reliable provider. I am so happy that I didn't set up a paid account. Cisco is the worst thing to have happened to openDNS. What a tragedy. I will no longer recommend openDNS to anyone. Hint to Cisco: if you wake up at 3AM with what you believe to be a magnificent idea, chance are that it isn't. Take a while and think about it, before you implement a change to a working design. Even better, run it past a team of design and implementation professionals, first. You've butchered opeDNS!

Not sure what your issues are - I have been a long time user of Open DNS on my home PCs and also have implemented Umbrella Enterprise at work. I agree that Cisco typically gets a lot of acquisition software all botched up (ie Cisco Nac, MARS, Ciscoworks) but I just dont see the issues here. Can you elaborate? FWIW - I remember during our acquisition of Enterprise OpenDNS - I talked with our Ciso Rep with my concerns of "Cisco fixing stuff that isn't broke".
