Every time I try to log into OpenDNS via the netgear genie app, I get the message that there was an error signing in! It has been this way for while, I think I got it to work once about a year or so ago when I first got the router. I have to be doing something wrong. I have reset my password on OpenDNS several times and have tried to log in with both my username and my email address.
I am able to log in to netgear.opendns.com and set up my schedule, but it has no effect on my network, I think because I can't log in through genie, so it can't make the association between my router and my account.
In order to get some network protection, I did create a regular opendns dashboard account and it works great, with the exception that I have to go there every time I need to change the protection level, which is daily and is a real pain.
Is it possible that my regular account is affecting the netgear account? How do I resolve this?
