Did you open a support ticket?  Staff may need to look into your DNS-O-Matic account.

I have the same issue and created support ticket since May 4, 2014. They have been asking me a couple of questions looping around even though I have told them all that they are supposed to know from the first point of contact. And still they could not give me an answer. Even just to prove them that DNS-o-Matic seems not to work with Zoneedit when I used an alternative application (DirectUpdate) that works. Still I haven't got quite an good answer from them. All are questions pointed back at me. Even to the point of have me record my screen at screenr.com for them to see.

"Even to the point of have me record my screen at screenr.com for them to see."

Sadly, I as a user also had to ask for this.  Is your ZoneEdit status also: Waiting for first update?
What exact updater do you use to send your updates to DNS-O-Matic?
What happens if you use:  https://updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update?hostname=<your_ZoneEdit_host/identifier>

@schadow1 do you have a ticket number? I was not able to find a Support Ticket tied to your username.

@roblitz exactly the same issue... Waiting for first update. Started to happen april 25th on my account. the alternative i used is directupdate. regarding the link you used, it worked for me with a status of "good <ip>"

@Chris Frost. I was actually baffled as the ticket seems to have been closed although the conversations are still undergoing with 17 messages in the thread now. You were the first one to actually reply to my query last May 5th. the ticket number is 89794

summary : I have a dnsomatic account with opendns and zoneedit dns within it.

DDNS Client: the one built inside ddwrt and asus ac66u router

router successfully communicates the ip to dnsomatic according to the logs.

checking dnsomatic account, only the opendns gets an updated ip. the zoneedit hosts remains at "waiting for update" status

tried a third party ddns client app called DirectUpdate to directly update the IP of Zoneedit DNS and had no problem at all.

There are two few complaints (just yours) to appear as a general problem.  What's your error message or any other evidences?

DNS-O-Matic just quit working with ZoneEdit for me.  ZoneEdit now says they require a Token to do dynamic DNS updates.  I put a ticket in to DNS-O-Matic support a few days ago.  No word yet.

I am afraid that we other users here cannot help you either.
