no-Ip issues
No-Ip stay in "Waiting for first update".... Open DNS Ok.

Hello,
I have the same issue with a similar configuration :
my Internet box updates fine my no-ip hostname : it's allways up to date.
I have added in dns o matic 2 services : no-ip and OpenDNS
As Vbcrayon, for no-ip service, I only see the status message "Waiting for first update" and nothing happens.
For the service OpenDNS, there's nothing more than "Inactive".

What update client do you use to send your updates to DNS-O-Matic?
=> I have no soft installed on computer to do the update. The service "No-ip" is available in my box. So I have configured it. It's working fine : on No-ip web site I allways see my last Internet address.
What hostname did you configure in the update client?
=> on DNSOMatic, for the service No-IP, I have put as "Host/Identifier" the same name as it is on the web site No-ip. -

This explains everything. You seem to send your DDNS updates to No-ip, but you must send them to DNS-O-Matic to take effect as you want.

No, this is not what I wanted to know. I meant the hostname for the updates sent to DNS-O-Matic (which you don't do).
That said, you must run a DDNS update client which sends the updates to DNS-O-Matic (only), and DNS-O-Matic distributes them to the services you have configured on DNS-O-Matic. Possible update clients are listed at DNS-O-Matic.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with DNS-O-Matic. DNS-O-Matic is an updater service that pushes your IP address updates to various DDNS servers. Our users would use this service along with our Dynamic Ip Updater Client - the client detects the IP address updates, sends that to DNS-O-Matic. DNS-O-Matic then sends the IP address update to various services, including No-IP and OpenDNS.

To further explain, although DNS-O-Matic can push updates to other DDNS services, it will not receive updates from other DDNS services. Some router firmware explicitly support DNS-O-Matic, though that's generally only 3rd party firmware, such as the Toastman variant of Tomato. Some routers also support a "Custom" category for DDNS services, and some people have been able to configure that for DNS-O-Matic, but it again depends very much on what your firmware offers. Basically, unless your router firmware provides DNS-O-Matic or Custom as a DDNS option you cannot get your router to update DNS-O-Matic and will have to rely on the Updater software to update DNS-O-Matic for you.

my router "knows" only those services : DtDNS, no-ip, DynDNS, changeIP and DNSdynamic.Is-it compatible with DNS-O-Matic ?
It's not possible for me to use the software "OpenDNS Updater" because I have more than one computer on the network. The simplest way is to do the update through the router.
I have tested "OpenDNS Updater" but the major problem I have with it, is the fact that it is interactive, visible. Does-it exist a client updater launchable as a Windows service ?

DNS-O-Matic is apparently not part of your router's services selection for Dynamic DNS, so you cannot use your router to update through DNS-O-Matic as it is.
You could use DNS Allocator (https://dnsalloc.uxnr.de/) which takes the IP address from one of your hostnames and sends it to DNS-O-Matic, but this does not work for OpenDNS, but would work for all other services.
You didn't say what router model you have, but many routers can be flashed with alternative firmware, see a list at the bottom of http://www.polarcloud.com/tomato
All of these firmwares can update DNS-O-Matic with ease.You could consider to buy another router which is able to update DNS-O-Matic or allows for "user defined" DDNS updates.

Excuse me, but, the OpenDNS Updater UI is very limited and does NOT have the option to 'configure a hostname' as you say. Perhaps you are thinking of another software. I am also having this issue with NO-IP and have been manually updating which is a bit of a nuisance considering what this service is 'supposed' to offer.

Excuse me, but it looks like you didn't read what has been written. The options were clearly listed in my post from October 1, 2015, 12:03.
An additional option would be to write a script utilizing a tool like wget or cURL with one the following URLs:

http://updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update?hostname=all.dnsomatic.com
