afraid.org update issues

Hi,

my afraid.org DNS it's not being updated, since 15th of October.

/nic/update returns the correct IP address, so the update is "lost" somewhere between dnsomatic and afraid

Is this a known issue?

This is not an afraid.org issue, but a DNS-O-Matic issue. I have raised ticket #183757 two days ago already.

Did you get any answer from the support team?

Yes, I know that tickets are "private". Here the text:

I became aware that updates through DNS-O-Matic don't work for me anymore since two days. I also raised a few manual updates to prove this:
https://updates.dnsomatic.com/nic/update?hostname=all.dnsomatic.com
with no success, although confirmed with "good <IP address>".

Also, another observation since months is that e-mail notifications are queued by DNS-O-Matic, sometimes for up to 8 hours, before they are being sent out.

Although I received an automatic e-mail that it would be worked on, the ticket status still shows "Awaiting assignment to a support agent".

Thanks for the heads up.

I just restarted my box, and everything seems to be OK.

So far so good, but I'll keep monitoring it.
