You'll have to plug another router behind the ISP device where all devices are to be connected to, wired or wireless.  This additional router is to be configured with the OpenDNS resolver addresses.  You'll want to use the existing ISP device as such only, not to connect any end user devices then.

In line with the question asked by amadeaus, I am trying to set up opendns on multiple devices in a non-profit girls home. However, due to the location of the home, landline internet service is not available so they use Verizon jetpack 4G. I have opendns configured on the first device, but the additional router will not be an option in this situation (at least to my knowledge). Can you help with this?

See your other question at https://support.opendns.com/entries/29180080-verizon-jetpack-

Another option would be to run an old PC with a free DNS server and DHCP server distro.
