Ensure that your router's IP address is actually 192.168.1.1.

Enter the address manually exactly as:  http://192.168.1.1/  or  https://192.168.1.1/

Why do you think OpenDNS is preventing you from accessing your router's interface?

Have you done as rotblitz told the original poster to do, namely access the router directly with it's IP address? Did you do as the original poster said they did and modify the DNS settings on the computer they were working from>?

Why do you post all this useless information here?  You forgot to mention your pets, your car model and your family members.

Just that you know: not being able to access your router has nothing to do with any of the other things you told us, not with OpenDNS, not with the Updater and its settings, not with DNS-O-Matic, and not with dynamic IP addressing.

rotblitz you don't be sarcastic...i only have this problem when i use opendns

i use them at modem level and this thing i keep reading "Ensure that your router's IP address is actually 192.168.blah blah" lol

we are not all irrelevant... and the reason i post all this info is because i thought you maybe need it....

No, I'm neither sarcastic, nor do we need the irrelevant information you posted.  You better had told us how exactly you attempt to get to your router, what the exact error message is and things like that.  This would be relevant information needed to help you.

Copy & paste the complete plain text output of these diagnostic commands:

       netsh interface ip show config

       netsh interface ip show route

       tracert 192.168.1.254

I forgot to mention: you should execute the commands only when you face the problem with not being able to access your router's interface.

Your router is to be reached indeed by 192.168.1.254.  If this doesn't work after some time, then it is clearly a router fault and related to OpenDNS in no way.  You'll have to refer to your router's support.

On the off chance that you don't have the foggiest idea about the ip of the switch you can take a stab at clicking begin - >run- - >then type cmd and click "alright". In the order incite type: ipconfig and press "Enter" on the console. In the event that there's a "passage address" that will the number to type after http://in your program.

    Ethernet adapter Wireless:
    Connection-specific DNS Suffix .
    IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1

The above issue can be easily resolved by going to your computers Network settings --> DNS and remove  208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220 or both.

on my Mac I ran into the same issue with my ASUS AC1300 and I was able to resolve it by removing those 2 IP Addresses from the DNS tab. Just leave your router's ip address (e.g 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.50.1 whatever is applicable)

    Here's my mac's screenshot

Actually the solution is posted up by user ahsan99. People please read between lines.
