How do I configure my Infoblox grid to use OpenDNS for external queries?

  iyad_ah you can either setup Infoblox to point to the VA like rotblitz suggests, or you can point Infoblox directly to the Umbrella resolvers. In either case you needs to enable the "Add client IP..." option as shown in this doc: https://support.umbrella.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036945832

  The advantage of using the VA is that it will provide encryption for the DNS queries, and optionally per-user policy if you use the AD integration.

  You configure the OpenDNS resolver addresses as forwarders.

  Thanks for your reply.

  We've done the above configuration but we still seeing the IP address of the Infoblox as a source of the DNS query on Umbrella Dashboard instead of seeing the End user IP address.

  Any thoughts if we can get the end user IP address appear on Umbrella  Dashboard.

  This is not an Umbrella forum. But maybe this can help:

  As far as I can see, you must install a Virtual Appliance (VA) with Active Directory (AD) integration.  Then the private IP addresses of the end user devices will become visible in the Umbrella activity reports.
