Setting up with a Billion BiPAC 8800AXL
I have a new router arriving next week, so in preparation, I have been having a look at the user manual. It's a bit confusing because it mentions DNS settings in various parts of the manual, so I was wondering if anyone knew exactly which settings I would need to change to use OpenDNS. Is it for instance, just on the DHCP server page that I need to input this information or do I need to change any other settings as well (on the router that is)?

Generally, independent from the router type and model, it is best to configure the OpenDNS resolver addresses on the WAN side of the router. If this isn't possible or does not help, you also can enter the resolver addresses on the DHCP/LAN side.
Your router model is most like possible to be configured on the WAN side:
Three ways to set an IPv4 DNS server
Available WAN interfaces:
Select a desirable WAN interface as the IPv4 DNS server.
Static DNS Address:
To specify DNS server manually by entering your primary and secondary DNS server addresses.
Parental Controls:
If user registers and gets a DNS account in the parental control provider website, expecting to enjoy a more reliable
and safer internet surfing environment, please select this option (need to configure at Parental Control Provider).(From http://au.billion.com/downloads/usermanual/wireless/BiPAC-8800AXL-FM-2.32c.7-4.UM-1-04.pdf)
Especially the last option is a kind of OpenDNS integration. I would recommend to use this.
