If I configure my router to OpenDNS, can I then set my device to a different static DNS?
I wish to use OpenDNS on my router, which is easy enough to set up and have no issue with that.
However, I then wish to use Unblock-US on a device connected to the router in order to watch US content on Netflix in the UK.
Will the OpenDNS service on the router allow different static DNS settings on devices accessing the web via the router?

Hi Lee,
In most cases specifying a DNS server on a device will override a DNS server specified in the router. There are, however, some routers that have the ability to force all DNS traffic over port 53 on the router, thus requiring everyone on the network to use the DNS settings defined on the router. This tends to be something that needs to be manually activated on the router itself, so it is unlikely to be an issue in this case.
I hope that helps!
