    Hi,

If you're unable to configure your router to use us, then we suggest you configure your computer instead (see https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/sections/206253647). You will get the same benefits, and if you have a small number of computers on your network, it's relatively easy.

    Best regards,

See if you can enter the OpenDNS resolver addresses on the WAN side, and enter them there.  It's anyway the better option.

    Is this "same prob" this?
"in the DHCP settings for my device (the Huawei HG8245H) the fields for Primary DNS Server and Secondary DNS Server are disabled (greyed out)"

Well, as you can see, no answer since April 24.  Happy waiting!

Or would it be better to maybe refer to Huawei Support?  I do not recall OpenDNS reselling Huawei routers...  What do you think?  Who has more expertise with Huawei routers, Huawei or OpenDNS?

@yathu86 If you have the same problem but aren't providing new or additional information then you have the same solution.

The same solution means: refer to Huawei Support.  It's not an OpenDNS problem, but a Huawei problem if you cannot enter DNS server addresses of any kind on this router.  OpenDNS does not produce or supply Huawei routers, so they or their users cannot help.

I had the same problem before but I've already solve it by using the following information to login:

    Username: telecomadmin
    Password: admintelecom

I recommend entering at the following address 192.168.1.1/admin.html. password: CalVxePV1!
    all fields should be activated.
    Best regards from Argentina
