Split the Gambling Category
Not planned
We try to block as little as possible, but are required to block illegal and cash gambling sites. It would be great if we could block those, but allow access to other sites, like state lotteries, sweepstakes, etc... Splitting the Gambling category into Gambling-(cash | illegal) and Gambling-EverythingElse would be very useful.

It's the first time that someone requests this. Why should this be done via OpenDNS, as it can easily be achieved otherwise already? Also, splitting this category would be too much granularity. Gambling is gambling.

Defining illegal gambling across national borders would be difficult. As a global internet company, this makes categories like this basically impossible to implement. Instead we allow you to whitelist specific sites if you want to allow your users access even though the domain is blocked under a specific category.
