Blocking deep web when using Tor

    There's something incompatible with desiring filtering, and allowing Tor. OpenDNS will not block sites accessed by proxy, Tor, or VPN. If you want to filter the "deep web" you must banish Tor from your network.

    As mentioned by cervezafria allowing Tor and then trying to block .onion domains would not be possible and pretty counter to the entire idea.  Tor does not send DNS requests to your configured DNS servers but uses an internal service of requesting content based on the .onion domain you requested.  If you are browsing the web via Tor, the DNS requests originate from the node the request goes through.
