As an afterthought, another way of looking at this might be as follows:

Currently, we can see stats by date(s) for the number of times a domain is requested in a ranked order.  That's fantastic, however, it does not allow me to look up a specific domain by number of requests.  Instead, I have to pick a range of dates and look through the entire list to find that domain, which still does not necessarily tell me when the last time a domain was requested.

A DNS service cannot tell you when a site was visited. The most it can tell you is when the address for a domain was last requested. Although related, a site and domain are not the same. DNS could have been looked up for a domain to send an email to that address. A site could have been visited but never had it's domain looked up via DNS because the address for the domain was already stored in a cache.

If you want to monitor traffic to or from your location that needs to be done via a router, firewall, or other device at your location, or via some sort of service on the internet that proxies all of your internet traffic. Relying on DNS lookup information will give you a very incomplete and misleading idea of htat kind of traffic.
