Add a Data Center in Boston, MA
Please add a Data Center more in the NorthEast US. There is not a lot of diverse paths going to New York, mainly just Level 3. Maine for a example has a direct fiber to Boston, therefore not having to rely on Level 3.

Hi Joshzone90
In regard to data centers, you can see our total global data centers here: http://system.opendns.com/
and here: http://www.opendns.com/network-map/
As you can see, we have a data centers in Ashburn VA and New York City, and we just added a data center in Toronto. It might be worth clarifying your ISP and their peering arrangement with our Support team to see if we can improve it in that respect.
Thanks!

To see what OpenDNS location you're using, you would execute the command:
nslookup -type=txt which.opendns.com.
If this is not the closest location from a networking standpoint, then, as Matt said, "it might be worth clarifying your ISP and their peering arrangement".
In addition, to compare OpenDNS with others, you'll want to run a benchmark program like https://www.grc.com/dns/benchmark.htm or such.
"Just doesn't seem as fast as" is not really an objective criteria for anything. As the site above says: “You can't optimize it until you can measure it”.
