Add a Keyword Feature
This can be in addition to what is already blocked though OpenDNS, such a search for porn on Google.com/images you will still see plenty of in appropriate pictures. The keyword feature can help block that type of search.

Already discussed to death and will not implemented by OpenDNS.

That defeats the purpose of why I got opendns. It was to block specific words from being used in searches and such. Ugh! Guess I'll have to find a different program that DOES block by using keywords :( thank you rotblitz, now I know it's not going to happen. I'm sorry you wasted your time trying to get such a useful feature added. -
Are you saying that you paid for a service without checking to see if it offered the features you wanted? If you were looking for a program to do this for you, OpenDNS was the wrong choice anyway since it is not a program (meaning locally installed and run software), rather it is an internet based DNS, security and filtering service, a completely different thing from a program.
If you are only interested in blocking keywords in searches, as opposed to blocking keywords in URL's, your best option is to use, and force the use of, "safe search" features that are provided with many search engines, and block access to all search engines but the ones you favor. There are links in this forum to information provided by Google on how to force this feature on for all users, and I believe that Bing has something similar, but I don't know the details since I don't use that kind of filtering.
If OpenDNS were to reenable a keyword filtering features it would do no in search engines searches anyway, since DNS is completely unaware of things like URL's, webpages, content or anything else that is not a domain name. For that reason it could not filter search terms, it would only filter domain names for the words in your filter list.

"Blocking URLs is very limited"
You cannot block URLs with OpenDNS, just domain names.
"if I find keywords on the page that match a certain category"
How does one associate a keyword with a category? I do not think that there is a directory or database with such associations, especially not at OpenDNS. And that's you finding keywords on a page, but OpenDNS never sees that page, so cannot find anything.
OpenDNS is a DNS service which does not know what a DNS query from you is good for, if it is a webpage, a URL, an e-mail address, a mail server, a news server, a picture or video or what else. A DNS service just knows about domain names. Therefore you can block only domain names.
You simply need another service if you want to block content on webpages or to block URLs based on keywords, something like a proxy service where all your traffic goes through, not just your DNS traffic, and where you can configure what you want.
