create a "recipe" book for common domains and their subdomains
I wanted to whitelist Skype and had to look up a number of posts to find all the domains I needed to add (still not perfect, but close)
It would be good if we could look up common domains and what makes them up without all the searching, trial and error.
So I could just pick :
Skype recipe to allow
facebook recipe to block.
skpe via facebook, recipe allow (you get the idea)
If the sub domains within them change, then users could add the new ones and everyone else benefits.
where you could have the "add domain" you could add an option for "add recipe".

Agree. Also, user-managed recipes (a bit like IFTTT) that can be turned on and off.
e.g. I'd like to create a custom recipe called "Youtube", and be able to enable or disable it when I want to (usually as a result of kids blowing the monthly data limits).
The recipe would include the following domains because this is what you need to actually block Youtube:
youtube.com
googlevideo.com
ytimg.com
s.ytimg.com
youtube.l.google.com
youtube-ui.l.google.com -
Depending on what categories you have selected for blocking, these may not be enough.

Rotblitz, I specifically said a recipe for "YouTube", and no others. I find the domains I listed successfully block all access to YouTube. Also, this list does not interfere with any other Google services or any other video services.
I am not talking about "categories" or any other sites. Do you have a specific point in linking to a thread with dozens of posts, without providing specific information for your point, or do you just enjoy hijacking threads? You do seem to have commented on every topic in the Idea Bank.
