Allow Multiple IP's/Networks.
I've been an opendns user for many years. I don't know when you changed it, but I remember being able to add multiple networks and manage them all from my one account. I have my personal network, various family members, and several friends who I manage their systems. I would really like to be able to add all those networks back under my account for ease of use..
As of right now, the only way around this is for me to configure a dns server locally on my one allowed ip address, forward all of its requests through your servers so that I can have external networks managed under my opendns account.
This seems rather extreme method in order to use your "open"dns system..
Please don't allow the name of your service to become an orwellian title..
Kinda like how "BestBuy" is almost never the "best" buy...
Please email our support department so that we can review your circumstances and potentially allow you to add more than one network to your account. Keep in mind however that the Terms and Conditions or the Home Basic service doesn't allow for more than one network, and so any changes to this policy are at our discretion. Our Premium DNS service allows the addition of more than one network, but doesn't have content filtering with its services, and it may be what you're thinking of in terms of a service that permitted more than one network.
Never mind.. I'll just setup bind dns server locally, forward the requests through your servers, then connect as many external networks as I wish to my own personal dns server and still be able to manage content filtering and blocklists centrally from your UI.
Don't worry.. I've written that i've permitted myself to do so within my own personal terms of service. But keep in mind, I have also decided that I can make changes to my own policies at my own personal discretion.
You really should consider finding another term to use in your service name other than "open".
