You don't have the right to enjoin me from responding.  There's freedom of speach in the country where I live and may be in yours as well.

And you will be surprised what I will be responding, not meeting your expectations.  And I didn't say that it's not technically possible, but doesn't cause the effect you would expect due to local caching.

Now my response: Want to have time based content filtering?  No problem, here you go: http://rawstream.com/
They may have a solution (or even not) for the local caching problem coming with time based settings changes.  But unlike Netgear LPC their service is not free.

The real problem here is that the kids simply need to go to bed!!!!

Get up in the morning and get a life like real people do!

Yes, this is what can be achieved with many routers where you can restrict general access to the internat at certain times or where you can set online time limits.  OpenDNS has no control over your internet connection, because it is a service in the cloud.  Only local things like your router can control this.

rotblitz - when I manually apply filters on OpenDNS it usually works within a few minutes.  Why that can't be done automatically based on time?

i.e apply setting x at time 10 AM and then apply setting B at 4 PM. It is just instead of I am doing it daily the times can do it.

    Don’t ask me. Ask OpenDNS.
