What is a custom category and how is it different from the current blacklists?

The idea would be for an example say I want to block any social media that uses pictures for an example. So I would create one that would block that category while leaving the main social media unblocked.

I don't see how this is any different from the current blacklists. You would have to identify the domains you want to add to your custom category, and then add them in order to block them. That's functionally identical to the current blacklist capability. The only real difference is that you could organize the blacklist entries with a label that could be called a functional category.

Or am I missing something in what you want to accomplish and how you want to accomplish it?

The custom group would allow you to configure black lists like

[  ] Blocked games I don't want my kids to play (for example roblox)
[  ] Blocked games I don't want my kids to play on weekends (for example valorant)

And you could manage it by adding URLs and enabling/disabling these custom groups individually.

Does it make sense to you?
