Tell new users on the stats page that stats won't appear for 24 hours
At the moment this is not stated and it made me think OpenDNS wasn't working at all. I came close to giving up on it can cancelling until I found a forum thread about empty stats that explained there was a 24 hour delay for new users. You need to set people's expectations because you currently show a graph of the current time that shows no data recorded and people will conclude from that that nothing is working.

Posts related to this are one of the most common posts on this forum. It's been quite a few years since I first configured OpenDNS so I really have no idea what all of the setup instructions currently state, but you're right, it would be very helpful to point this out to cut down on people wondering what's "wrong". A lot of people don't bother to read instructions, or skip big chunks of them, but still, if it helps out at least a fraction of the users here it would be a good thing. Voting for this.

I believe this is not that simple.
This 24 hour delay when first collecting stats until they appear is always the case for the OpenDNS Home services, no matter if you started with a new account or (in case of the free service) didn't visit your stats for more than 14 days, so that the stats collection has stopped and need to initiate again when visiting the stats the first time again.
And this is documented where one would expect it to be documented:
https://support.opendns.com/entries/53936430-Configuring-OpenDNS-on-your-NetworkIt can take up to 24 hours for stats to initially populate after you enable them, so if you don't see them right away don't fret they are coming!

This is definitely not only for new customers. Did not setup automatic IP update for OpenDNS in my router since I received it before Christmas and after setting it up this afternoon they are still emtpy. Looks like as described in the support link rotblitz mentioned before that this happens everytime OpenDNS did not log any stats in the past 14 days.
