accept URL for Dynamic DNS
Support the use of Dynamic DNS generated URLs from Meraki Network devices. I currently use a Meraki MX60 Gateway and it provides me a dynamic DNS url for the public ip. Instead of entering the public IP I would love to provide that URL and not have to install a dynamic DNS software application on one of my computers, it seems redundant especially when it's all "Cisco" and or someone is already paying for a dynamic DNS service.
Thanks!

Your Dynamic DNS update URL is https://updates.opendns.com/nic/update?hostname=YOURNETWORKLABEL - accepted by the OpenDNS system.
So enter this into your Meraki's DDNS update client, and you're good to go!
You cannot enter this URL? Ah, then your problem is not Cisco/OpenDNS related, but Cisco/Meraki related. You shouldn't have come to this Cisco entity here, but to Cisco/Meraki. OpenDNS supports every DDNS update client, but Meraki doesn't seem to support OpenDNS then...
And Meraki's DDNS hostnames (subdomains of dynamic-m.com) are registered with Enom, Inc., reseller Namecheap.com.

When I create a network in OpenDNS it asks for an IP address and if I have a dynamic IP address to use a client app. I don't want to use or install a client app and would rather use the dynamic hostname that has been created by Meraki in my MX gateway. The suggestion I made was instead of only asking for a traditional IP address to create my network why not support a dynamic hostname or IP Address?

This has been raised more often here. OpenDNS will not allow this for security reasons. See:
