DynDNS instead of DNS-O-Matic
Times change. many households don't have a PC, but only smartphones. They use a WiFi-Router to connect to their internet-modem.
Many of those Routers have the DynDNS-Option. so they push the actual WAN-IP-address to a Server, where opendns.org should GET ist from (that time only PUSHING there is possible). i would like Opendns.org to GET the actual IP-address from dynDNS-providers.

OpenDNS will not do this.

https://support.opendns.com/entries/22165345The right approach would be to ask the router suppliers to include DNS-O-Matic in their list of supported service providers. Several routers already have this.
