It's a great thing to have "internetbadguys.com" as a testing site to make sure OpenDNS is working.
In the same way, it would be easy for you to do, and super handy for OpenDNS users, to be able to test each category of web-filtering as needed to see if that category is being blocked or not.
Use case - At our house, we limit the amount of games the kids can play. After they've exhausted their time on Minecraft or other games, I check the box to not allow Games. Then I hit Apply and wait 3 minutes. Then I launch Minecraft and see if I can sign in. Sometimes I can still log in - so it's not blocked yet. Then I either wait longer or try to flush DNS caching and try again. This can take a long time. It also works in the reverse for Games. When the beginning of the week hits, and the kids have their next installment of screen time, I uncheck the Games category and hit Apply. Wait 3 minutes. Then tell them to try. "Nope, still can't get to Minecraft Dad". It can take a long time as we work through opening up the category. It would be really nice to be able to click a "test category" link next to the check box to see if an example site is blocked or not to test things out, to see if the setting is in place when checked or open when unchecked.
Also, there are many other categories that I wouldn't have any idea on what site to test to see if that category is actually blocked or not, to test out the configuration. A link to an example site next to the checkbox for each category would help users to quickly and easily determine if the category is blocked or not - and feel confident that OpenDNS is working exactly as configured.
Thanks much for your excellent work!
