Specify timezone for daily stats email
I have specified an email address to send a daily stats email to for each of my identities/networks.
Unfortunately the graphs are against GMT -0800 which is a different timezone to my clients.
It would be great if you were able to specify the timezone you want the stats and graphs to appear against.

Did you try this? https://dashboard.opendns.com/myaccount/timezone
Or at https://dashboard2.opendns.com/ > Configuration > System Settings > Accounts

we are on the umbrella and the report to shows 10-11 am and it is 5:53 AM in my west coast time zone. Please see attack screen shoot looks to be 5 hours off ?

Hello, please be a bit more helpful. The reports have to be in our timezone otherwise they are useless. What's the point of a feature request. Why not you guys just do your job correctly?
You advertise these reports are provided so it's not a feature we are asking for. Just to be able to use them...
If your Engineering team is not able to think about that we can clearly question their abilities...

@g168 It's generally considered counterproductive to insult someone when you are asking them to do something for you.
They ARE doing their jobs correctly. They are asking for input from all of their users on what features they'd like to see added or modified, and giving them a way, via voting on ideas, to prioritize those different ideas so that they can allocate their resources that are of most interest to the largest number of users. Just because someone asks for something doesn't mean that they'll automatically do it, or that it will become the highest priority.
If an individual idea doesn't get a lot of votes that's either an indication that most of their users either don't know about the idea, or that they just aren't very interested in the particular one.
I am curious about one thing in your message. How do the reports become useless just because they are based on a different timezone from yours? They still cover a 24 hour period, and are still sent at a fixed time during the day. I'm not saying it's not desirable to have them sent at a fixed time based on timezone, I'm just baffled as to how they become useless if they aren't.

Hi Matt, it's not great either to try to give a lesson to someone if you cannot understand the fact companies work differently that in your own small world.
If you don't get why this is important to have the right timezone, then why did OpenDNS put the time in the reports in the 1st place? If you're saying there is no point knowing the time (which is the case with having the wrong timezone) then OpenDNS should just remove the time on the reports?
If there is a time then you know there is a reason. So please stop arguing and keep on with your day. Everyone has the right to express their thoughts without someone else telling them they should think differently, no?
I find it insulting to have to fill a feature request and even have to vote for it for something that is supposed to be working or that has not been thought through properly. Even the admin of this thread thought it was working as this just doesn't make any sense...

Guess what, it's a public forum. If you don't want people to respond to the tone of your posts, as well as the content, either adjust the tone or don't make the post in the first place.
I would presume that the reason they put the time in the reports was to give a reference point for the data that is contained in them, and to know exactly what 24 hour period they cover. To know for sure you'd probably have to go back to the original engineering decisions, but I have no idea what those actually were.
Go back and reread what I said. I did not tell anyone, including you, to think differently. Nor am I arguing. I asked why the report is useless if it's not sent in accord with someone's timezone. Like I said I'm baffled as to why that would make it useless, rather than just less convenient or less useful that if timezone or even time of report could be changed.
It's a pity that you feel insulted that the company is bothering to solicit input from their customers about the features that they'd like to see added, and trying to get some input from them about how to prioritize those feature requests. How else would you propose that they solicit input from their customers? So far as I can tell there is nothing broken about the report feature, and it seems to be doing as it was intended, so anything done to it would count as a feature request, not a bug fix.

LOL. I'm sure it will come as a surprise to OpenDNS HR department that I'm one of their Engineers and that they haven't paid me for me however long they have supposedly employed me. The legal department will be absolutely apoplectic that payroll and other taxes haven't been deducted or paid for all these years. Please do send them a letter asking them to pay me and to resolve all the tax issues.
As for my time, it's mine to use however I want.
Lots of IT companies use their ticket system to resolve problems, meaning something that isn't working properly, or where the customer isn't able to get the product to work properly. Some also use them to solicit feature requests. Each company has their own exact approach, and if you don't like how a company handles things you can always find another more to your liking, especially as you seem to consider OpenDNS to be both stupid and incompetent.
In this particular case someone did use the support system to make a feature request, and just like any other idea for a new feature, rather than a bug repair, they referred them to their idea bank for consideration by the rest of their customers. Personally I'd much rather that they devote resources to IPv6 than to modifying timezone options for a single report.
Just like any other customer you are always welcome to open a support ticket, and if the report is indeed useless as you claim they'll look into that. Of course, it would help if you'd explain to them how the reports are useless, especially since you seem to think that what makes them useless is entirely dependent on not being able to localize the time zone.

Well Matt said it himself he doesn't support this post and he has lots of time to waste. Indeed if you look at my first post I'm trying to help get this bug resolution so please don;t put me in the same "bag". I find it disgraceful also for ppl to hijack other posts just because they don't support it...
