Umbrella Dashboard and Profile Settings OR Umbrella Dashboard Profile Signatures
Dear OpenDNS Support Team,
Currently, there is no way for users to modify an OpenDNS Umbrella profile in Apple Configurator without unsigning their profile and re-signing it with their Mac's local signatures.
The problem with these local signatures is that, despite working, are not verified and can open themselves up to potential security threats when used on an iPhone or iPad.
Usually, if customers want "Automatic Only VPN" or "Remove Profile" set to "No" in their profile configurations, one would have to contact the OpenDNS Support team to get these settings put in place and then re-provision the profile.
It would be much more preferable to at least have these commonly used settings on the Umbrella Dashboard. Perhaps the OpenDNS support team could have two basic profiles up for download off the dashboard instead of 1.
Option A: Automatic VPN & Manual VPN, Remove Profile - Yes
Option B: Automatic VPN Only, Remove Profile - No
This would not only strengthen the versatility of the OpenDNS Umbrella platform, but allow users to have more security, since Option B prevents supervised iDevice users from deleting or working around the painstaking work IT administrators go through to get Umbrella installed.
If this is not possible through the Dashboard, perhaps another alternative would be allowing users to modify their preferred settings through Apple Configurator and allowing users to import their profiles to the Umbrella Dashboard to be signed with the OpenDNS signature.
Thank you OpenDNS Support Team, and please consider my feature request.
Best,
Aldo Ortiz.

The Umbrella dashboard is at https://dashboard.umbrella.com/
It is not my dashboard. I'm a user. What does "how it did?" mean? That isn't English.
