Notify multiple email addresses of access request using Netgear LPC
Is it possible to notify multiple email addresses if a child requests access to a website? If I am at work, and my child requests access to a website - I would like to know before I get home. On the other hand, my primary email address should remain my home email, so I don't want to register a new account - your thoughts?

Just because a domain is looked up in the DNS system does not mean that someone "requests access to a website". Just because a domain is looked up does not mean that anyone visited a particular website. There are many reasons that a particular website could be looked up, such as search engine results with a browser that has prefetch enabled, ads on a website, or even an article that contains links that reference a website.
Bottom line, OpenDNS is capable of preventing access (for any reason) to a particular domain, but it is not a very good tool for tracking internet traffic since it doesn't differentiate between websites a person is deliberately browsing and DNS lookups that results due to "background activity".
If you want to monitor specific internet activity, including providing alerts on it, that's a router function, not an OpenDNS function. In this case, it would be an issue to take up with Netgear, not OpenDNS.

If my daughter attempts to access a blocked domain due to the web content filtering I specify, the page that specifies that the domain is blocked has the option to notify the administrator to request access to the site, this is the email I would like to receive at a second email address. If my daughter needs access to a site that it blocked, I could then allow access before I get home - by which point she would have lost interest or my wife would have provided alternative Internet access via her phone. -
Another angle of looking at this: when you have set up an email to be sent every time a blocked domain is accessed, it will cause a tremendous amount of emails to be generated. This means that this would very likely trigger your email provider's email spam filters quite quickly!
I would recommend having a look at using our Home service instead of Netgear's LPC service. The Home service allows you to create customized block pages which will allow you to specify an admin email that your users can send an email to if they need to have access to a blocked domain. For more information on this, please see https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/.
Please keep in mind that if you choose to use the Home service over the Netgear LPC service, you'll have to disable LPC on your Netgear router (instructions: https://support.opendns.com/entries/60217234-How-to-Enable-Disable-Live-Parental-Controls). There will be conflicts if you do not.

Aw, that's a completely different thing than your first post sounded like it was asking for and makes much more sense. The only hitch I can see is how difficult or easy it might be to implement, and more importantly how many users such a thing might appeal to, especially since both the home and LPC products produce no revenue from OpenDNS perspective. There is only so much they are going to be willing to put into such a free product.
Also, it's always a good idea when a support person at any business suggest posting something to a user forum, to include that tidbit of information. It can and often does cast things in a different light, and avoids readers from feeling like they are slapped in the first when it is revealed later in a thread.

If you want to distribute messages to more than one destination and the original service (like LPC) doesn't allow for it, the usual ways to do this is:
- Create a distribution list at your primary mail service with the e-mail addresses in questions and send the message to this DL.
- Create a rule in your primary mail service to forward a copy of such e-mail to other e-mail addresses as well.
