How do I get past SMC router login?
Very confused by the setup process.
OpenDNS Updater v2.2.2 reports Using OpenDNS? No.
I follow the setup link and proceed to https://store.opendns.com/setup/device/smc where it tells me to log in to my router using default password (I have an SMCWBR14S-N4 and Comcast Xfinity).
No joy with any combination of user name and password (Admin, admin, SMCadmin, etc.) that I can find on the Internet.
I proceed to hardware rest of the router - press reset, count to 30, unplug power, count to 30, power up, count to 30, let gor of rest.
Still can't log in.
What do i do next?

Well, you'd have to ask Comcast, since they provided the router. Potentially, they don't allow configuration at all.
Without configuration, of course you aren't using OpenDNS. Perhaps you would like to configure your individual devices to use OpenDNS until you can sort this oiut with Comcast?

Thanks for the replies, maintenance and rotblitz. Configuring individual devices is not a realistic option in a house filled with laptops, ipads, and cellphones! I stumbled on the solution - following a hard reset, the router apparently required a first login via a hardline connection (not wireless). Now all is well.

Hello,
Maintenance is correct, your ISP may not allow third party DNS configuration, so it would be best to consult Comcast for information on your router configuration. However, you can configuring OpenDNS locally on your computers. Please see computer configuration instructions here:

You can also verify that you're currently using OpenDNS by visiting:
