Aren't the block page ads a bit over the top?
I understand that OpenDNS needs to make money somehow, but I find that the ads on the block pages are taking up significantly more room than the actual message and content. I have just timed the page load and it actually took over 40 seconds to load the page as it waited for all the different ad-serving domains. Also, I am aware that the adverts are supplied by third parties, but many of them seem to be spam themselves, which is one of the reasons I use OpenDNS to block parked domains etc. I have been forced to block these adverts as a result. Do the adverts have to come in this form? Is there an option for text-based ones only? Thank you for the great DNS service :)

I've escalated this to the team responsible for the block page and our ad partnerships. Ads should not be delaying the block page loading or initially rendering though it may delay total load time since the ads come from 3rd parties. If you have specific issues with the block page, please open a ticket and let us know.
